Healthy Gatherings Covenant

WE WILL BE GRACIOUS

We covenant to be patient, gracious, and forgiving with each other

amidst the unique challenges we face when gathering

in-person during the COVID-19 pandemic.

WE WILL STAY HOME IF SICK OR EXPOSED

We covenant not to attend any activities at the church if we are sick,

experiencing symptoms of illness,

or have been exposed to someone who is sick.

If we get sick soon after one of our gatherings,

we will alert church leader(s) to the possibility we have exposed others.

If our age or health condition makes us vulnerable to the virus,

we will stay home.

WE WILL KEEP A HEALTHY DISTANCE

We covenant to remain at least 6 feet apart from people

who are not part of our household or pod.

We will follow the designated entrance and exit doors of the facility.

We covenant to find creative ways to greet each other warmly

rather than hugging or shaking hands.

WE WILL WEAR MASKS

We covenant to wear masks or face coverings

while on the church campus.

WE WILL WASH OUR HANDS

We covenant to wash/disinfect our hands immediately

upon entering the church.

WE WILL LIMIT THE SIZE OF OUR GATHERINGS

We covenant to follow guidelines limiting the size of our group

to the maximum occupancy of room being used.

Bathroom usage limited to one person at a time.

WE WILL LIMIT THE LENGTH OF OUR GATHERINGS

We covenant to limit the length of our gatherings

according to current safety guidelines.

WE WILL LIMIT THE SHARING OF FOOD AND DRINK

We covenant to share food and drink that is prepackaged.

We will sit six feet apart.

WE WILL TAKE ATTENDANCE

We covenant to take attendance at each gathering

for the purpose of tracing an outbreak of illness.

WE WILL CLEAN UP AFTER OURSELVES

We covenant to follow guidelines for cleaning/sanitizing the meeting space

after our group completes its gathering.

WE WILL PRAY

We covenant to pray for ALL those affected by COVID-19 and

to pray to Bear Fruit for God’s Kingdom by loving our neighbors as ourselves.

Grace & Peace,

Veranita
